Dietary supplement containing live lactobacilli strains

The vaginal flora consists mainly of lactobacilli and overall helps maintain the proper balance of the vaginal environment (maintaining a normal pH between 3.8 and 4.5). The vaginal microflora inhibits the growth of pathogens by various mechanisms, such as the production of organic acids and in particular lactic acid, the production of bacteriocins and the production of hydrogen peroxide.

Intimeo® is a capsule dietary supplement containing four strains of Lactobacillus:

1. crispatus LBV88 (DSM 22566)

2. rhamnosus LBV96 (DSM 22560)

3. gasseri LBV150 (DSM 22583)

4. jensenii DSM116

Each Intimeo® capsule contains at least 2.5 billion live lactobacilli strains. This population of live cells is secured by the expiration date for sealed packaging.

Recommended dosage:

2 capsules of Intimeo® daily together, preferably taken before a meal with a glass of water or other liquid. For the correct use of the product, it is recommended to follow the medical advice.

Storage conditions:

Intimeo® contains live strains of lactobacilli that are sensitive to heat. Store the product away from moisture, at room temperature (15-25oC). Use the product within 30 days of opening. The expiry date refers to a product that is properly stored in a sealed package.

Warnings:

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. This product is not intended to prevent, treat or cure any human disease. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, taking medication or have any health problems. Keep out of reach of children!
